(WDEF) A former Hamilton County jailer pleaded guilty to perjury Thursday afternoon.
Last September, Wanda Smith stole an inmates food stamp card, changed the pin number, and then used it.
     She resigned after that.
But because Smith has no prior convictions, she qualified for a diversion.
That means if Smith applies with her probation agreement for two years, her case will be dismissed.
Smith was also ordered to pay more than $370 in restitution.
