Lieutenant Steve Blevins, with the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department, says, "This is absolutely unbelievable to me that someone would come into the store this way, do what he does."
While it may be a game to this criminal, it is not for the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department.
They are now looking for the young man who walked into their Wal-Mart, grabbed a claw hammer, screw driver, and then slithered on the ground from register to register.
Blevins adds, "Getting down below the counter heights and working from beneath the cash registers themselves to get them open."
Registers at the front end of the store none the less, all the while customers shop around him at 1:40 in the morning.
Christine Kinsey, a resident, says, "Very Scary."
You can actually see the man scale Wal-Mart's fence, and then jump in a white car that was waiting for him.
Mark McMurray adds, "If they'll do it in Wal-Mart, they'll do it anywhere. There's more people in Wal-Mart at all hours of the night than any other store."
Police agree.
They also believe this man has hit the Wal-Mart on Battlefield Parkway before, and a Wal-Mart in Dalton.
Kinsey adds, "They need to be caught before it gets worse."
That is what police are afraid of given these brazen moves and tools he uses.
Blevins adds, "We're concerned about what this individual may do when he is confronted at one of these stores."
But that has not happened yet.
Police hope you recognize this man first, so they can finally say game over, and him two felony charges and a misdemeanor.
The thief we are told got away with about $200.
The Fort Oglethorpe police say they will have extra patrols at their Wal-Mart store from now through Christmas.
