Ft. Oglethorpe City Manager Ronald Goulart resigns abruptly Friday afternoon. He says he resigns "for reasons beyond my control."
After that announcement, the council entered send executive meeting. Ft. Oglethorpe Mayor Lynn Long denies media access to executive meeting.
A short while later, Police Chief David Eubanks is fired. He's asked to hand in his badge.
Then later during the same meeting, Public Works Director Jeff Long is also fired by interim City Manager Harold Silcox.
