(WDEF) The Hamilton County Mayor called for $500,000 in emergency funding for the repair work on the W Road on Thursday.
Officials say the new funding is needed to address soil stabilization after a weekend mud-slide.
It's about 1,000 feet below the work already being done on the W Road.
This work will happen alongside the ongoing W Road repair work.
Officials don't expect it to impact the reopening of the W Road in July.
