Hot Rod magazine announces a Chattanooga stop on its national tour.
This June, the power tour will make its way through seven cities in seven days.
That means more than 5,400 hot rods and 85,000 spectators.
Chattanooga's big day will be June 6th.
Festivities are scheduled from noon until seven at Chattanooga State community College.
Jeff Dahlin, Publisher for Hot Rod Magazine, says, "You're going to see every kind of performance are you can imagine, from a hot rod to a street rod to a drag racer, muscle cars, rat rods, everything you can imagine, any kind of car that someone can put a high performance engine in and drag it down the freeway. You're going to see that on the Power Tour."
The tour is free to spectators, but there is a charge to register your hot rod.
Officials tell us it's $30 for the day or $80 for the week.
