In honor of the Kentucky Derby, one local organization is saying "Tell me something Derby."

It is the slogan for this year's event at Bluewater Grille, hosted by the Chattanooga Room in the Inn.

If you are unfamiliar with that group, they are a shelter for homeless women and children.

The event was chock full of mint juleps, hats, and horses.

It is all to raise money for the group's efforts.

More than $1,400 was raised four years ago when it started.

This year, the event grew so much, they are expecting to raise more $40.

Victoria Galen, with Chattanooga Room in the Inn, says, "We do an incredible job at Room in the Inn because we're not just an emergency service, we're a program.  We actually teach women how not to be homeless, so when you come support this event, 100 percent of ticket sales go to Room in the Inn.

Now, if you did not get a chance to go this year, you can still support the group by calling Room in the Inn and donating money.
