Former South Pittsburg Mayor Mike Killian is sentenced to six months in federal prison today for running a gambling operation.
He also faces 12 months of home confinement and has to pay a 30-thousand dollar fine.
Federal authorities say he operated video gambling, sports betting, and an "outlaw" lottery for nearly a decade.
He's said to have made hundreds of thousands of dollars from the operation.
Killian pleaded guilty to charges in November.
