Authorities recently pulled a dead body out of the water near Lakesite Marina in Soddy-Daisy.
Deputies tell us two people saw it around three Sunday afternoon.
At first, they thought it was a mannequin, however, when they got closer, they could tells it was a mans body.
Now, that man has not been identified, but community member believe he worked in the area, and went missing November 11th.
His body is currently at the medical examiner's office, waiting for a positive identification.
Janice Atkinson, with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, says, "They'll search the area for any evidence that may or may not be available because they body has been in the elements for quite awhile, so they'll stay here until they collect everything they need to further the investigation."
