The Red Cross is now deployed, as well as several other agencies to help out with relief efforts.
A group called the Disaster Medical Assistance Team made their way to maryland Saturday.
They will stay there until they are needed in other parts.
That 50-person team is made up of local healthcare professionals and support personnel.
