Even though we are cooling down this week, it is still hot out there, and keeping cool is a must.
So, what if we told you that you can do that using a special type of bottle called a Core Cooler.
It is designed to cool you from the inside out.
The inventor says all you have to do is blow into a unique straw stuck in one of his bottles.
Now, that peeked the interest of one UTC professor, so he decided to try it out this weekend with the help of his students.
Frank Affinito, Inventor of the Core Cooler, says, "I created a bottle that has a very unique straw that goes inside that has holes in it, and these holes don't allow no liquid to come up the straw, but only air, thus breathing cold air through a bottle."
Doctor Brendon McDermott, a professor at UTC, adds, "If it does work, then we may actually have a device that alleviates and prevents heat illness when athletes are exercising outdoors in hot temperatures like today."
The trial will go on for several days.
If it works, then Affinito hopes to market the product, not just to athletes.
