LOOKOUT VALLEY, CHATTANOOGA, TN, (WDEF)-Joe Graham, County Commissioner, District 6,"Lot of great people that live there, still a lot of great things going on in our community this is not a normal occurrence for us or anyone in the community"

Graham says both the victims and the main suspect are well known and he has even coached a young Derek Morse in baseball.

"Accused of doing all these horrible and horrific things, you know, his child life, his upbringing he didn't have one, a good one, i am not defending what he did in anyway, but we are a product of our upbringing"

Some of the victims and the main suspect are connected to Lookout Valley Middle and High School where the principal says they have been staying in contact with authorities over the last few days

Rick Rushworth, Principal,"When this whole tragic incident occurred in our community, the police were in constant contact with me throughout the night of the incident and the night before, we determined the school was in no imminent danger and we  have actually had two good days of school"

Support for the main suspect Derek Morse poured in online to his Facebook page.
Morse was an active social media user whose last posting was of a Times Free Press article regarding gun owners and  carry permits.

Colleagues of the RV owner John Lang where the tragic shooting happened were today grieving his loss.
