There are signs.. and some quiet roads.
To most.. Finding your way in Walker County isn't hard.
But.. 5 year old Daisy was lost.
"I have another dog story. This dog. Look at him. Sweet little thing. He is from Guam. He's wearing a Guam tag, yeah, Guam. Veterinarian Clinic from Guam and he was found in the Noble Community nearby. If you know.. I'm going to give you a number to call," says Luther on WDEF News 12 at Noon.
Luther strikes again.
Daisy is reunited with her owners on Thursday.
"Storm blew up and broke up, disappeared. It's been about 24 hours since she's been gone," says Will Chamlee, Daisy's Owner.
The Chamlees recently moved to Rhode Island after being stationed in Guam.
They've been in LaFayette about 2 weeks, visiting family and friends.
Chamlee says, "Completely lost. Started running around trying to find something familiar and couldn't find anything."
The LaFayette Animal Clinic took Daisy in for the long 24 hours she was missing.
Misty Durham didn't know if she could ever find Daisy's owners.
But she called the right person.
"Vindicated and great. I'm very very glad. This is part of the job. You try to do the welfare of the animals here and when you can actually find an animal and reunite them with the owners you know you've done something great because it's like the loss of a child," says Durham.
Daisy likes to visit new places..
She's been to Guam twice, California and now she's been to Rhode Island and I don't know about Georgia. I think she's ready to get out of here," says Chamlee.
