The rainy weather did give way to a little sunshine this afternoon, and dog owners took full advantage with a trip to the ball park.
The Chattanooga Lookouts hosted Dogs on the Diamond along with the McKamey Animal Center.
Dog owners brought their pets to the ball park to mingle with other animal lovers, with the proceeds going to the McKamey Animal Center. The event also featured some dogs that are up for adoption.
"To us at McKamey Animal Center, that's one of the most important things that we can promote, because, of course we want to establish life long bonds between pet owners, and their pets. Because we do want to see dogs and cats and guinea pigs and rabbits stay in their home into what we call forever homes," said Anna Baker.
