The day long project included the senior classes at both McMinn Central and McMinn County High Schools.
All seniors had a chance to meet with industry leaders.
They learned about technology needs, the training required, and the wages and salaries that students can expect.
The focus of the initiative is to fill high tech jobs in our area and help students prepare for the opportunities available, even if they do not plan to attend college.
The event was coordinated by Stewart Smith with the Tennessee Technology Center of Athens.
