Memorial Hospital Shows Off Makeover at Hixson Campus

Memorial Hospital is showing off a multi million dollar makeover at its Hixson campus.
The hospital held an open house this afternoon.
Guests got a chance to tour the new intensive car unit, and the emergency department.
Residents could also check their Blood Pressure, and balance, and get a screening for Osteoporosis.
Debra Moore is the President of Memorial Hospital in Hixson.
"We have spent the last year renovating and expanding services and adding a brand new I.C.U. The Health care system at Memorial and Catholic Health Initiative spent 19 million dollars in the Hixson community for this renovation. We finished in July and we wanted to celebrate with our community today."
Residents also got a chance to hear from doctors on cardiac disease, thyroid cancer and advances in breast cancer treatment.
