The East Ridge Parks and Recreation Department is asking for the communities help.

The city is missing two softball pitching machines worth more than two thousand dollars. The machines were being used at the Old School Hardball Facility at the McBrien Building in East Ridge. The machines have been missing for more than a week now. Stump Martin, East Ridge Parks and Recreation Director said, "Its all under investigation. My gut feeling on the deal is whoever got them might have got them to use because they only took the two softball machines and they left the baseball machine alone. Which makes me wonder, maybe they were just softball minded, or had somebody in softball that they were going to take it too or sell it too."

Anyone with any information is asked to call the East Ridge Police Department.
