Local veterans are getting some much needed help Thursday night from one of their own. A former World War II veteran and deputy with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office recently passed away. So, in his honor, his family donated thousands of dollars worth of medical equipment to a local veteran's chapter. WDEF News 12's Alisha Searl has more in this local perspective.
