The rain didn't stop folks from going to the National Cornbread Festival in South Pittsburg this weekend.

Streets were shut down as hundreds of people walked around to taste the various cornbreads and food vendors. Live music, entertainment and craft booths were all on hand for everyone to enjoy. One Cornbread Festival attendee talked with News 12 about her favorite food at the festival. Angela Earbin said, "This is cornbread salad and its always one of everybodys favorites when they come to the cornbread festival. Everybody likes the cornbread salad a lot, so you have to get up here early to get cornbread salad because it sells out every year."

This was the 17th annual National Cornbread Festival.
