Neighbor Sees Smoke, Warns Dallas Bay Homeowner

(WDEF) A Dallas Bay homeowner has his neighbor to thank for saving his house from a fire.
     The blaze broke out in the attic of a home in the 1,700 block of Colorado Street.
     A neighbor saw smoke coming from the roof of the house, and told the owner.
     Dallas Bay fire crews quickly arrived and had the flames out in 8 minutes.
     No one was injured.
     Damage is estimated at $3,000.
     Investigators say an electrical malfunction caused the fire.
