The new Chick-fil-A on Brainerd Road in Chattanooga opens Friday morning at 6am.
In honor of the grand opening the chain is offering the first 100 people free Chick-fil-A for a year. Representatives said those 100 people arrived early Thursday morning. Tents are set up in the parking lot with Chick-fil-A fans. Some people were playing cards and throwing footballs, and others were just trying to stay warm. Courtney McWhorter said, "We got here at 6am and got in the raffle, and actually, all of us got in. We have a group of 7 that got in, and when you get in the raffle you get free food for a year, so its 52 coupons. We had breakfast this morning, and we set up our tents and now we are just hanging out."
Everyone has to camp out until Friday morning to redeem their coupons.
