Accused cop-killer Jesse Mathews appeared in a Nashville courtroom today...for a meeting to identify potential jurors in his death penalty trial.
Mathews faces capital murder charges in the death of Chattanooga Police Sergeant Tim Chapin.
Judge Barry Steelman made the decision to select a jury from Nashville this summer.
He said the case is too well known to seek an impartial local jury.
Mathews goes to trial in Chattanooga January 22nd.
