We begin Sunday night with sad news out of Chattanooga.

Radio icon, Tommy Jett, is back in the hospital, and we are told he is in critical condition.

Family friends tell us this stems from complications with a previous surgery.

If you will  remember Jett broke his neck in a car accident back in April.

Since then he has been trying to get back on his feet.

Last time we saw Jett was in May for his annual entertainer's reunion, and this is what he had to say.

Jett adds, "Just great to get together because as time goes on we know the inevitable and that's that we lose a lot of people and we've lost a lot in the last 15 or 16 years, since I've started this in 1993."

Jett has been an entertainer in Chattanooga for more than 50 years.
