Red Bank Fire officials continue to investigate a house fire from Sunday evening.
The home on Crestview Drive erupted in flames, and now neighbors are concerned.
WDEF News 12's James Mahon has more in this News 12 update.
Crews work Monday morning to patch the roof of a Red Bank home damaged in a fire.
Neighbors spotted the blaze, called 9-1-1, and then shot this video as the home burned Sunday night.
Tammy Moore says, "It was around 7 last night  and my husband works late so he was calling, I thought he was calling to tell me he was here so I could fix his dinner and he said the house was on fire, so we came out and seen there was a lot of, just tonnes of flames coming out of the roof and I mean it looks like it was coming from the attic, it was just really high and right in the middle of the house "
Fire fighters first thought someone may be trapped inside.
Moore says, "Oh my gosh is coming in there! they we know hes not been staying there much, I think he lost his life a while back so hes not been staying there a whole lot and am but we kept thinking there was somebody there as there was a truck in the drive but  some of the volunteer fire fighters had already come up to check that there was no one inside."
The owner, Charles Coates, was at the movies when another neighbor called to tell him the home was burning.
Off camera, Coates says he thinks he knows what started the fire, a theory backed up by fire fighters.
Assistant Chief Jerry Carter says, "at this time we don't but being an attic fire generally speaking about the only thing in the attic that you can run into is some kind of electrical situation, we don't know that for a fact, but we are going to investigate and find out"
Still, a sight like this is unsettling to witnesses.

Red Bank Fire officials say the damage is probably more than 50,000 dollars.
