Red Bank Elementary's PTA president has resigned after an investigation revealed she used PTA money for personal purchases.
Doris Mizzell has been charge with theft under $500 and fraudulent use of a credit or debit card.
A look at the PTA books and records found more than 900 dollars in questionable purchases that need to be repaid.
Items included a PS-3 game, Payments to EPB and Aaron's, and various purchases at Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby and Lowe's.
The school district says $180 from the Petty Cash box cannot be located.
Officials hope this doesn't put the whole PTA in a bad light.
Christy Jordan, Hamilton County Schools Director of Accounting and Budget, "By far the majority of the PTAs that I see have great volunteers doing great work and they have a lot of their own personal money and blood sweat and tears in the organization. And so when you have one person that's not acting in that manner it colors the perception of the whole PTA."
She says several other PTA officers have also resigned.
