RED BANK, Tennessee(WDEF) - A man who has reportedly been on the run since February is now behind bars.

Steven Conner, 23, of Red Bank was arrested this past weekend in connection to a stabbing incident that occurred at a home on the 3700 block of Lamar Avenue.

According to Red Bank police, Conner stabbed Joshua Corbett after the two got into a fight over Conner's girlfriend.

The two men reportedly starting arguing after Conner's girlfriend sent what was believed to be flirtatious text messages to Corbett. That argument turned into a physical fight that reportedly led to the stabbing.

According to the arrest report, Conner used a lock blade knife when he stabbed Corbett.

Conner initially agreed to turn himself over to Red Bank Police but reportedly went on the run. He was picked up this past weekend but it's unclear where he was hiding or how police got to him.

He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is currently being held without bond.
