71 years ago today Japan attacked Pearl Harbor pushing America into World War Two.
For the seventh year in a row the VFW post in Bradley County hosted a celebration to honor the sacrifices of the Greatest Generation.
The post has one Pearl Harbor survivor.
We featured George Allen in one of our Salute Our Military stories.
The annual ceremony also is a way to make sure we never forget the price paid for our freedom.
Jack Phillips, 3rd District Commander VFW,  "These old guys they went through it. They had it a whole lot worse than we did. And I respect and honor everyone of them. This is their day. This is what we do every December 7th 10 o clock in the morning. We meet and honor World War Two veterans and Pearl Harbor veterans."
World War Two Veteran Claude Wallace shared his memories from World War Two.
We'll have his story in Monday's Salute Our Military on Prime News at 7 p.m.
