Three weeks ago, three different Kangaroo gas stations were robbed in one night.
That's when the management at one store on Ringgold Road felt something needed to be done.
Now, there's a new sign up. The no hoodies, no helmets request aims to keep this 24 gas station from becoming a target.
Management said their customers come first and it's merely a precaution.
Another Local store owner says "We just recently experienced two robberies they happened under our noses but we didn't see who did it right from under us here in the store"
This is not an isolated incident with the Pharmacy across the
road receiving  visits from customers who don't often show their
faces.
Many local business owners feel a stronger police presence  is needed
in the area. With numerous cash and loan services available, those in the pay loan
industry told us if someone's face or hands can't be seen, then the
emergency button becomes a serious option.

This country needs meaningful hoodie legislation now. They serve no sporting function. Perhaps Obama should consider an executive order, bypass congress and ban hoodies.
