Some people camp out for Black Friday sales...others camp out for a spot at Riverbend.
Pamela Mabee said, "When you experience Riverbend by boat, it gives a whole new feeling to Riverbend."
More than thirty people are already camped out at Ross's landing, all to make sure their boats will be on the reservation list to dock during the June festival. They say they don't mind the long days and cold nights.
"I'm not gonna say we don't question that a few times in the middle of the night when we're out here freezing but it is worth it, to be able to have your own boat here and entertain your friends on the boat."
Many people consider the camping out an unofficial pep rally for Riverbend.
"We're all friends, we all know each other, we're all from a lot of the same marinas in town so it's almost just a yearly event."
These boaters will be able to tie up to the dock, plug up to a power source, and live on the river for a few days during the festival.
