CHATTANOOGA, TN (WDEF-TV) - Testimony in the murder trial of Roderick Bates and Emmett Jones got underway in Hamilton County Criminal court Thursday.
They're charged in the October 2011 shooting death of 37 year old Reginald Clark.
Prosecutors say Clark was killed at his home on Greenwood Drive around 3 a.m.
That was after he and the two suspects had argued earlier at the 807 Fire and Ice Club downtown.
Investigators say the incident may have started after Clark made a comment about a woman at the club, who turned out to be Bates' girlfriend.
