A fundraiser set up by a local hotel is raising cash to help the art program at Red Bank Elementary.
We first told you about the school's problems during Monday's "What's Right With Our Schools" segment.
The Art Teacher only has a 100 dollar budget for 650 students.
But the managers of Spring Hill Suites stepped in to help with a special event Wednesday night.
They raised 700 dollars.
And they showed off art work created by the students at Red Bank Elementary.
Meaghan Dant is the Director of E-Commerce for 3H Group Hotels.
"It's a lot of gorgeous pieces.
It really showcases the talent range and really puts an emphasis on how important the arts program actually is in the public school system".
The hotel will continue to accept donations until officials can reach their goal of 1-thousand dollars.
