Small Electrical Fire in Cell at Hamilton County Jail

(WDEF) A small electrical fire was discovered in a cell located on the fifth floor of the Hamilton County Jail around 6:41 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Inmates located in and around the cell were evacuated and the fire was quickly extinguished by officers working in the area.
      The Chattanooga Fire Department responded as well as Hamilton County Maintenance to evaluate the damage, that was found to be limited to an electrical outlet. No injuries to either officers or inmates were reported.

Probably bc somebody popped a socket to light a cigarette that someone else suitcased in, bout sums that up. lol
