If you're looking to adopt a new furry friend listen up.

The Humane Educational Society is holding its 3rd annual adopt-a-thon all weekend long. The dogs are all spayed or neutered and are ready for loveable families. Look for 100 animals per day on site at the Petsmart store on Gunbarrel Road. Kathy Mindel, Humane Educational Society Volunteer said, "People can come in, check out all the animals. Ask any questions. If they adopt, you get a little prize. We ring a bell. We turn our numbers. We have a professional photographer on site that will take pictures of the new family."
The event runs Saturday, September 14th from 10am to 8pm and on Sunday, September 15th from noon to 4pm.
