An Ooltewah man accused of beating a prostitute with a hammer told police he wanted to be like Ted Bundy.
Twenty-three year old Tyler Benson was charged with especially aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and patronizing prostitution.
According to the arrest report, Benson picked up a known prostitute and tried to rob her.
Then when she fought back he reportedly became angry and started hitting her on the head with a hammer.
In the report the officer says Benson told them he'd been reading about Ted Bundy and wanted to be like him.
