Engineering students at Tyner Academy have a unique senior project.
The students are working with officials from TVA, and Chattanooga State Community College to build a portable solar generator.
Tennessee Valley Authority leaders provided the funding for the project.
Chattanooga State Community College educators provided the oversight for the students.
With the experience the students are receiving, they could land a job working for a solar company in the future.
