One Step, that first step, is all it takes to start reaching your goals.
For Andrew Byrum, his goal is all about weight loss.

"I just decided was the year I was going to get it back under control," Andrew Byrum.

Byrum is this year's Chattanooga contestant for the Genghis Grill Health Kwest.

"For over 60 days I have to eat at Genghis once a day, they pay for it, and I have to lose as much weight as possible," he says.

Byrum is in his junior year at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Like many students, Byrum felt the Freshman 15.

"I went back and looked at photos of myself and I was a completely different person. You know every one talks about the Freshman 15 but now it's the freshman 30 and I put on way more than that," Byrum says.

With the help of Genghis Grill and the Rush Fitness this Moc is trying hard to reach his goals.
Just two weeks into the competition, Byrum has already lost 19 pounds.

Byrum says, "I would say the biggest challenge is just balancing out.. My life has just flipped 180 degrees. From eating here every day to going and working out."
