Four students were injured Monday morning when their school bus skidded into a ditch on the way to school.
It happened around 7:30 on Long Island Road near South Pittsburg in Marion County.
All four of the injured students were taken to Grandview Medical Center.  Three of them were treated and released with minor bumps and bruises.
The fourth child was transported to Children's Hospital with a possible broken arm and broken leg.

Mark Griffith\Marion County School Superintendent: "The bus just slid off, it was a very narrow road, and the bus just slid off into the ditch.  The shift, I think, pushed some of the students up against the bus wall."

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
