Tennessee Comes Up Almost 800 Short in Employee Buyout Offer

The final numbers are in on the state employee buyouts.

Officials have approved 15-hundred and 21 buyouts.

For those employees, this will be their last week on the job.

But the state hoped to cut 23-hundred jobs.

State officials say they will look at more ways to cut the budget in the short term.. But layoffs could come in January.
