THP Promotes from Within to Lead Chattanooga District

There is a new trooper in charge of the Chattanooga district. The Tennessee Department of Safety has promoted Captain Stacy D. Williams to run the local office. Williams is a native of Grundy County and served in the Sheriff's department there. When he became a trooper, Williams worked in Marion County. He's been working in the Chattanooga District for the last couple of years.
