They are still cleaning up the mess after a dozen railcars went off the tracks & overturned Sunday.
The Georgia State Patrol says 15 cars ran off the CSX tracks near Old Chattanooga Road in Rocky Face.
There was no hazardous material involved and no one was asked to leave the area.
But some of the cars were carrying aluminum, lumber and cotton seed, according to a resident.
Assistant fire chief Ron Ownby told the Dalton Daily Citizen no cause for the derailment has been determined.
Work crews are lifting the cars back onto the tracks in a heavily wooded area.
The railroad crossing at Beavers Road was blocked for several hours with a section of the train that had not overturned.
