Authorities are still looking for nearly 170-thousand dollars in shanghaied Jack Daniel's Whiskey after a stolen semi-truck turns up in McMinn County.
A Bourbon Bandit swiped the truck and a trailer loaded with more than 12-thousand cases of Jack Daniel's last week in Nashville.
Monday the truck turned up at Crazy Ed's Travel Center in Niota... the trailer is still missing.
Deputies recovered the abandoned semi-tractor after a call from a concerned citizen.
McMinn County Sgt. Tim Carver says, "She was there looking for a job, and getting numbers off of tractor/trailers trying to get a job and she spotted that tractor with an eagle on the side of it where she'd seen it on the local news and she was really shocked."
The stolen whiskey belongs to the distiller in Lynchburg, it was headed for Florida.
