TVA officials say work on the Ocoee River has lead to a fish-kill.
They were repairing a dam over the weekend.
When they lowered water levels for the workers... It also pushed sediment through the dam.
The sediment has been building up behind the dam for decades.
Residents complained of a foul smelling black muck all through the Ocoee Gorge for a couple of days.
Officials don't know how many fish were killed.
