Two teenagers died in a head-on collision on McMinn County Road 220 at Highway 305 Sunday.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says 29-year-old William Ottman of Athens was intoxicated when his pickup crossed the center line and hit the SUV with the teens inside.
The 16-year-old boy driving the SUV and a 17-year-old girl died in the crash.
Another teen suffered critical injuries.
Charges are pending against Ottman, who also was admitted to the hospital.
