Have you ever seen what a pissed off black bear can do? This aint winnie the pooh, dummy! These animals should not be mixing with the general public. Yes, shame on the moron who was feeding him. OK So I can shoot wandering bears? So if I mistake you for a bear or you look at me wrong and you are near my house I can shoot you dead?

the animal and move it to an unpopulated area.

I could really understand if there was a bear attack, they could justify the killing. But it was simply wandering in the woods.

The bear was not in the city limits,it was on Fredonia Mountain.I don't believe the bear should have been shot,it should been sent to a wildlife rehab and someone famaliar with black bears along with a vet should have determined its fate.
