First Annual Sandwich Week Launches

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga’s newest food event is serving up a fresh way to explore local lunch spots this week. 

The first-ever Chattanooga Sandwich Week is bringing $8 sandwich specials to restaurants across the Scenic City.

Nineteen local restaurants are taking part, each featuring a signature sandwich as part of the weeklong event running through June 14. 

Organizers say the idea grew out of last year’s BBQ Week, when many participating restaurants naturally leaned into sandwich-style creations. 

This year, they expanded the concept into a dedicated celebration of sandwiches, encouraging people to support local businesses while trying something new.
