[0]i'm mahvelous!
Thanksgiving may be just days away, but that didn't stop one wild turkey from strutting his stuff down a suburban St. Louis street.
The turkey was spotted Tuesday (11-13) in Clayton, Missouri.
[0]and strut! 2, 3, 4...
At first the pheasant seems a little camera shy hiding behind cars. But moments later, this big guy gets some courage and heads into the street to show neighbors what he's got.

[0]i'm Clyde, and i'm not dinner!
There are few moments during this time of the year that our turkey friends are safe. But that wasn't the case Wednesday (11/14) when Alabama's Governor Bob Riley pardoned "Clyde" the turkey.
More than 80 school age kids were on hand to watch an Executive Branch tradition that date backs to the 1940's.
[0]you are officially pardoned, non-dinner...
Every Alabama governor who's held office since then has been given a bird, but First Lady Patsy Riley has used these events as a way to promote social causes.
Over the past four years Mrs. Riley has collected blankets for the needy for the coming cold season.
