[0]Hi! I'm Sara.
A family in Spokane, Washington received an unexpected visitor during Thanksgiving weekend. After being missing for seven years, the Polley family's cat turned up at a local shelter.
The Polley family lost their cat, Sara, in 2000 and they thought they would never see her again. They live in an area that is newly built and they say that when they lost their cat, many of the homes around theirs had not even been built.
[0]I decided to come home.
Sara was found just a mile and a half away from the family's home. She was a little malnourished and was taken to a veterinarian to be cleaned up and checked out.
The family was elated to have Sara back, and the reunion was especially exciting for the daughter of the family who says that Sara was her first pet. Sara is an outdoor cat, but the Polleys say that they will be watching her closely from now on.

[0]reunited duck family
No one could have imagined the efforts of the professional crews put into rescuing eight ducks stranded down a sewer drain in Davie, Florida. Authorities aren't sure how the ducks ended up down the drain, but the emergency personnel pulled out all the stops to rescue the little birds.
After a couple hours on the scene, firefighters believe they were able to net the entire family of siblings and reunite them with their mother.

Twin lion cubs at the Virginia Zoo made their television debut Tuesday. The African cubs, Neka and Tao, were born in August. The brother and sister are the first large carnivores born at the zoo in 35 years.
The Virginia Zoo participates in the African Lion Species Survival Plan. The organization identified the cubs' mother, Zola and her mate, Mramba as a perfect genetic match for breeding.
