They're rednecks. "We're proud to be southern," says Geneva. "It's nothing to be ashamed of." So naturally the "southern" couple from Copper Hill fit right in when they starred in an episode of CMT's "My Big Redneck Wedding". The show chronicled the days leading up to their wedding. "We were nervous about it," says Geneva. "When they throw the cameras in? That's when you get 'Oh, God.'" For weeks camera crews followed the teenagers around as they prepared for their big day. The chance to capture that experience on national TV was a once in a lifetime opportunity. But the Packs admit they had another motivation. "To tell you the truth it was for the money," says Kyle. They earned $2500 for the show which is not a bad wedding gift. In fact Kyle was able to purchase his bride a brand new, pink wedding rifle. "I want everyone to know that I've shot way bigger guns than that little pink gun," laughs Geneva. The couple says CMT's redneck portrayal was not as insulting as it could have been. After their 15 minutes of fame the couple is looking forward to settling into the simple life. "The marriage has been going well," says Kyle. He and Geneva are now enjoying their big redneck marriage out of the spotlight.
