[0]A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that a local couple would be featured on a new reality show airing on CMT.
I checked it out last week, and now I'm a huge fan.
The show "My Big Redneck Wedding" is a great idea.
Couples allow camera crews to follow them around as the prepare for unusually Redneck nuptuals, while Tom Arnold drops in one liners.
[0]The first shows were entertaining, but the series really hit its stride with Geneva and Kyle.
They are the only young couple so far (18 & 19), so they're just more refreshing than the other multi-married couples.
Plus a camo wedding party, bottle rocket fights, and a pink rifle?
It doesn't get much better than that.
You also see such landmarks as the Wal-Mart, Benton Shooting Supply, and the Copperhill Golf Club.
[0]Check out the whole episode on the CMT website [1]. You are looking for episode 3 of My Big Redneck Wedding, called "Geneva and Kyle." You even get bonus scenes that didn't make the show.
Last week, we sent our own Jason Law up to Copperhill to see if the show has turned them into stars.
His story [1] last Friday was great.
But there was a lot more that didn't make air.
So here is more from our interview with Geneva and Kyle... the newest stars from Tennessee Valley.
(We even have an exclusive for you at the end)
[1]They call it reality TV. But how "real" was it?
[1]
After you shot the show, were you nervous what they would do with it?
[1]
[1]Are you worried about being called a Redneck?
[1]
What's the deal with Kyle's laugh?... see Jason's story to hear it in full bloom. (That's Kyle's mom off camera)

[1]How is the marriage going now with your new-found fame?
[1]
Kyle and Geneva talk about TV fame in a small town.

[1]And finally, a WDEF, News 12 exclusive. We may be seeing more of Kyle on TV.

Here's wishing many years of wedded bliss for the newlyweds. You did your hometown proud! I don't care what the country club says.
[1]PS... while you're at CMT, check out the Alison Krauss & Robert Plant perfomance on CMT Crossroads [2]. It's a good preview for their show coming this spring to Chattanooga. Just think, you can see them here in town before they perform at Bonnaroo.
