[0]The estranged husband of televangelist Juanita Bynum maintained his innocence at the last hearing before his March 11 trial on charges that he assaulted his wife in a hotel parking lot.
Thomas Weeks III appeared in Fulton County Superior Court on Monday, where he reiterated his not guilty plea on charges of aggravated assault, simple battery and making terroristic threats.
Authorities say he beat, choked and stomped Bynum to the ground on August 21.
Bynum filed for divorce shortly after the incident, and the couple has been separated since last summer.
She and Weeks married in 2002 in a lavish ceremony and have written books and lectured together on love and relationships.
