A Chattanooga family says they've had enough.

They're calling for an end to violence.

This, after 18-year-old Tyrone Stewart was shot and killed early today following a teen party.

The incident is just the latest in a series of recent teen shootings in Chattanooga.

To passing motorists, the corner of East 17th Street and Dodds Avenue probably looks no different today than any other day.

But it's here that two teens were shot just after midnight .

Mollie Chatman, Tyrone Stewart's Aunt says, "Let this be an example. It's time to stop the violence."

Police say they arrived to find 18-year-old Tyrone Stewart lying in the street, shot in the chest.

His aunt remembers him as a "loving, fun person. Everybody loved Tyrone."

Tyrone was pronounced dead at the hospital.

A recent Howard grad, Tyrone was also the proud father of a baby boy.

In his free time, his aunt says he mentored kids at the East Lake community center.

Now she hopes his death will be an example to everyone in the community.

Chatman says, "To all the young folks..it's time to get your life together....It's time for us parents to get together for our kids...the community to come together. It's time to make a good beginning for our teenagers."

Police are still looking for the shooter. For that person, Tyrone's family also says a prayer.

Chatman says, "I want God to keep his arms around them also. They're young and don't know what they're doing."

It's that same faith, Tyrone's aunt hopes will bring an end to the violence.

Chatman adds, "God's going to take care of everything. Just hold on and be patient. We know we can't bring Tyrone back but we can make a difference. Not just because my nephew got killed but it's time to step up and make a difference."

The second young man, a 17-year-old who was shot in leg during the incident, is said to be in fair condition.

Call police if you have any information about this case.
